Year 4 Science Investigation

In Year 4 we have been doing lots of work on states of matter and  this week the children were set the challenge to investigate what the role is in evaporation in the water cycle. The children received a letter asking them to find out what the best conditions would be for drying the school football kits. The children came up with their own investigation questions focusing on the impact either amount of water and the temperature would have on the drying time. They then discussed what had happened to the water particles and why they had changed state.
