Year 2 Forest School fire

On Friday, Year 2 made their own bread and cooked it on a campfire in Forest School to finish off their topic on London, specifically the Great Fire of London.  We talked about how the campfire was similar to the open ovens used in 1666, and how easy it was then for the spark to ignite during the hot weather.
