World Book Day

The school looked fabulous  in their costumes for World Book Day.  Castles by Colin Thompson was a great hit in every year group. The children explored and talked about the different castles, with their favourite ones being castles the ‘Cold Potato Mountain’  and the ‘Music Castle’. The children wrote about the castles and designed castles out of different materials.  Years 5 and 6 also enjoyed a Zoom webinar with Michael Morpurgo, where he discussed his book ‘War Horse’ on its 40th anniversary.
