On Friday 5th January Pegasus put their baking skills to the test as part of our design technology unit. The children had been learning about different foods and where they come from, taking into account the carbon footprint of some of the foods that we have in our diets. The children learnt about fruit and vegetables that are seasonal and used this as the basis for our sweet and savoury tarts. The children had a fantastic time preparing their fillings as well as taking part in a taste test once they were cooked.
