Children in Pegasus Class have been learning all about our planet’s amazing ocean environments, discovering why these fragile and special places need protecting. From colourful coral reefs to deep-sea habitats, they explored how oceans support incredible wildlife and help regulate the Earth’s climate—yet face threats like pollution, overfishing and climate change.
As part of their topic, the children practised writing formal letters and chose to write to Sir David Attenborough himself. They were thrilled and inspired to receive a personal reply from this national treasure, encouraging them to keep learning about and caring for our precious natural world.
