On Tuesday 14 March, our KS2 choir performed at the Fairfield Halls as part of the BYMT Bromley Schools’ Prom 2023. This event is a celebration of all the wonderful musical talent within the primary and secondary schools in Bromley.
Our children performed two songs: ‘We’re Gonna Make Music For You’ and ‘Can you hear me?’ They also took part in a medley of songs with 6 other primary schools as part of a massed choir of around 300 children.
We are so proud of all the children; they sang beautifully and with expression and enthusiasm throughout the concert. For many, it was the first time they had performed on a large stage to a big audience and they certainly rose to the occasion. They had to learn a lot of words and managed this with confidence and pride. Well done to you all!
We would like to say thank you to Miss Seeney, our music teacher who led the choir and to all the parents/carers who gave their support for the event and on the evening itself. It all came together to be a great success.
