Dragons visit The British Museum
Year 5 went up to London on the train to visit the Ancient Greek exhibits at The British Museum. We also had an excellent workshop where we got to handle replica artefacts and find out about Athenian democracy.

On Wednesday, Year 4 had a fabulous time exploring Wingham Wildlife Park. All the children really enjoyed themselves and were all engaged during the Orangutan Keeper talk and ‘Rainforest SOS’ talk all about Palm Oil and Deforestation. This was an excellent day out related to our Rainforest Topic.
Year 5 visited the Al-Emaan Mosque to find out more about Islam. Hamad, Rahila and Sheza did an excellent job explaining about the 5 Pillars of Islam, the washing rituals for prayers and what Ramadan is.
Children from Years 5 and 6 took part in the Bromley Primary Schools Cross Country at Crystal Palace on Saturday. All the children ran really well and were part of an event that had over 60 schools attending and over 1000 runners. Well done, Farnborough.
The girls football team played their first league game today against Biggin Hill and had a great game. They all played really well. Great teamwork!

Girls from Year 5 and 6 took part in Farnborough’s first ever touch rugby tournament. The girls did really well switching from tag to touch rugby and won 3 out of their 4 games. Children from Year 6 played in the Bromley Bees Netball Tournament on Tuesday 9th October. They played really well, winning their group and only going out to the eventual winners. Well done!
