Last week Pixies had an amazing time on their school trip to Godstone Farm. They saw all kinds of farm animals and we even got to feed the pigs. Everyone had a lovely time and Pixies class are looking forward to finding out what trips they will be going on next year in Year 1.
Harris Shortlands Primary came to Farnborough to play in a Football tournament on Wednesday 28th June. Both schools played excellently and there were some very close matches.
Year 5 and 6 went to Fairchildes Primary School to play in a netball tournament on Monday 26th June. Both schools played excellently and there were some really close matches.

Year One spent one sunny afternoon this week planting garden plants. They were very excited to plant a selection of flowering plants and proud to spot the similarities and differences between these garden plants and wild plants spotted around the school.

Year 5 participated in a Dance Workshop to celebrate Windrush Day. They also found out why it is a day to be celebrated and heard stories from people from the Caribbean, who came over to England between 1948 and 1973. We will be doing more work next week on St Kitts and Nevis.
On Monday afternoon, the Year 6 Netball team enjoyed a fantastic victory in the sunshine against Stuart Fleming Primary School. Thank you to all the parents for your amazing support.
Over the last two weeks Year 4 have been working really hard on creating clay Tudor Roses. The children studied the design, thinking about how the the Lancaster and York roses were combined. I am sure you will agree that have done a fantastic job!
