The first ever Chess festival was held between the Nest schools on Thursday and children from Year 5 and 6 represented Farnborough. They all played really well and Sachin from Year 5 won the whole event. Well done, boys.

On Thursday 14th March, Pegasus Class visited Bromley Vue cinema to see Asterix: The Secret of the Magic Potion as part of the Into Film festival. The seats were great and it was an enjoyable morning out to learn a little more about the land of Gaul!

On Monday 11th March, Pegasus class visited the Natural History Museum. They took part in a fun hands-on workshop, working as palaeontologists to identify a range of fossils and performed their own fossil dig. On Tuesday, Year 5 travelled by train to the Science Museum. The inclement weather did not dampen their spirits and they had a fantastic time visiting the Space, Mathematics and Information galleries. The stand out favourite, however, was the Wonder Lab, the interactive exhibit with many amazing things to try and experiment with.
