Year 5 and 6 visit to the War Memorial

On Monday 11 November, Year 5 and 6 attended the War memorial in the grounds of St Giles Church to observe the 2 minutes silence at 11am.

As Year 6’s topic this term is World War 1, they decided to pay their respects at the memorial. Father Matthew very kindly spent some time with us explaining the importance of the war memorial.
