On Monday 10th October, Year 5 went on a school trip to the British Museum.

As we walked into the museum, we were surrounded by so many different types of artefacts from many time periods in the history of the Earth. Once we had stored our lunch and coats safely away in our lockers in the education centre, we were challenged in our groups to examine 4 different galleries, finding answers to many questions through close investigation.

Just before lunch, we participated in an Ancient Greek Life Workshop, where we investigated historical artefacts to see what life was really like in Ancient Greece. Who knew you could learn so much about the Ancient Greeks by just looking at a restored Greek pot!

We had a fantastic trip and learnt so much. We look forward to our next trip.
