On Friday 7th October Year 4 had a fantastic day at Wingham Wildlife Park as part of their Secrets of the Rainforest topic. The children took park in two workshops, one teaching the children about Palm Oil and the damage this can cause to the rainforest and its inhabitants.
The second, was a talk from one of the primate keepers on orangutans and why they are such an important species to the survival of the rainforest. As well as lots of learning, the children enjoyed seeing all the animals and have a great day out together.
