Year 6 had a great start to their residential trip by spending Monday afternoon canoeing. Fortunately, the rain held off and the children had a fun time rowing in twos and threes, playing ‘it’ and finishing with a ‘bellyflop’ game. Mr Atkinson ended this with a rather epic bellyflop of his own!

All that fresh air and exercise on the beach and during the evening activity meant the first night was relatively quiet as first night’s go!

Today, the children are getting dusty and a little wet and muddy on the tunnel and sensory trails, solving the matrix and problem solving and orienteering. We finish off the day with a campfire. We’ve seen a bit of sun today and the food has had good reviews so far!
