On Tuesday the 20thof November , The amazing Explore Learning came to Year Six. Two fantastic visitors called Giles and Jess helped us with a Math problem to solve. “I work in a sign shop, My boss told me to make signs for every shop in Orpington. So I decided to make the alphabet with poles, But they could only be vertical or horizontal. One pole costs 50p, and it had to be as cheap as possible.”

So we were doing the alphabet and checking the prices until Giles said he just got a phone call from his boss saying we could use diagonal poles but they were £2 each! It was good news and made it a lot easier but also frustrating because some of us were already finished or half way through the alphabet .

This math lesson was extremely fun and we really enjoyed a different challenge.
