Year 5 had an amazing trip to Hythe to finish their Spring term Geography mapping topic. They had to solve a series of clues to 10 locations in Hythe and then plan a route to visit all 10 locations in the most efficient route they could find. It was a great challenge and the winners completed the task in 65 minutes.

For lunch, we visited St Leonard’s Church and had a fascinating talk from Father Michael about its 1000 year history. Some of us even ventured down into the ossuary – one of only 2 in the whole of England!

There was just enough time to grab an ice cream, sit on the beach and sing Happy Birthday to two children who celebrated their special day at Hythe.
