On Friday 6th June, the whole school came together to celebrate Vocabulary Day — a fun and engaging event designed to spark a love for language and words. Throughout the day, children worked in their House Teams, taking part in a range of exciting, vocabulary-themed activities.
From sporty word games to a challenging escape room, and even some classic vocabulary-based fun, the day was packed with energy and creativity. The children collaborated brilliantly and showed fantastic teamwork across all activities, all while deepening their vocabulary knowledge in a playful and enjoyable way.
A huge thank you to everyone for the amazing costumes and imaginative wordplay — it was wonderful to see such enthusiasm. We hope all the children had a brilliant day exploring the power of words!
