On Tuesday 3rd June Pegasus and Giants  enjoyed an enriching visit to the National Gallery, where they explored a diverse selection of paintings on the theme of ‘People’ including seeing the new portraits to celebrate the coronation of King Charles. In the afternoon, they took part in a specially arranged Gallery workshop themed around ‘Colour’. During the session, the children examined how artists use colour in their work and were encouraged to experiment with their own creative responses to make a lamp shade. Held within the gallery spaces, the workshop made use of a variety of materials and media provided by the gallery, offering a hands-on creative experience for all involved!
