Our existing teaching facilities are good, they have been maintained and developed over the years, but they have reached the time when they can be developed further. For instance the wired infrastructure does not support the necessary increased use of mobile technology, there are not enough group rooms, our kitchen requires replacing and the boilers that generate our heating are nearing the end of their life.
The agreed expansion plan will see £5.5 million pounds of investment in our school that will rectify these areas as well as including a building to house twelve new classrooms, group rooms and a refurbishment to the main school building.
The new building is modular, built off site and delivered in sections proving absolute minimal disruption to the school. As our children saw from our last construction, there will be an opportunity to see the new building develop and have an input into the decoration design, which is an important part of learning.
