On Tuesday, Elves spent the morning exploring some amazing African creatures when Zoolab visited. The children listened to some interesting facts told by the very knowledgeable Tyler and they were able to touch and even hold most of the creatures. They were extremely brave and excited about meeting these creatures. Well done Elves!​

Can you make a bulb light with only a battery, some wire and a bulb? Giants made a very basic electric circuit this week. We  replaced the wire with aluminium foil and it still worked! This is because metals conduct electricity.

This week the children had another visit as part of their topic on People Who Help Us – this time our very own Lollipop lady! They enjoyed talking to her about her job and thanked her for keeping them safe when they cross the road to school.

The children in Reception are really enjoying their Forest School sessions and are finding lots to do – from exploring, making camps, acting out and making up stories to building see saws and trying out the rope swing. They particularly enjoy their hot chocolate in Base Camp at the end of their session!

On Wednesday 13th November, Year Six went to the Bromley Vue cinema to see Johnny English Strikes Again as preparation for our new class book in January, Stormbreaker by Antony Horowitz. We all had a thoroughly great morning and are looking forward to writing our own spy stories next year.
