On Tuesday 21st March 2023, Year 5 ventured down to the Coastal town of Hythe. It was a culmination of our Geography topic ‘OS-Map Vs Sat-Nav’, where we compared the two methods of navigation. We had a great time exploring the town finding landmarks using our very own map!

Year 3 and 4 did really well at the Bromley Primary Schools Cross Country event at Crystal Palace on Saturday 18th March. The rain did not dampen their spirits and they enjoyed the experience along with over a 1,000 other children from over 50 Bromley schools.

Year 6 had a fantastic trip to the Imperial War Museum, visiting the World War 1 and 2 galleries. After a dreary start, the weather brightened and the walk from Waterloo east to the museum was pleasant and we all loved finding out so many interesting things about both World Wars.

As part of a whole school Commonwealth celebration the children from Reception to Year 6 all took part in a dance workshop where they all learnt different dances from across the world. In Year 4 we focused on African dancing, influenced by Ghana and  Nigeria. The children had a fantastic time.
