Today was an amazingly exciting day at Farnborough Primary School as we all celebrated Red Nose Day 2019. Founded in 1985 by comedian Lenny Henry and filmmaker Richard Curtis, Comic Relief is a charity which fundraises for disadvantaged people in the UK and around the world. Red Nose Day is held biennially and was first televised in 1988 to raise money for Comic Relief.

The ‘wear it red‘ money was collected by Mrs Ellson and some of the year 1 pupils. Then after AM break some of the staff came to year one to help them and Mrs Bushell with the judging which will be announced in next weeks assembly by Year 1 along with the amount raised by the school!

We took a few pictures of course, which can be seen in the gallery below. Please click on the thumbnails for a larger view. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody who took part in making today such a fun day and in helping us raise much needed funds for this amazing charity.
